In March 2023, the Tri-County EMC Foundation Board approved grants for 6 projects, totaling $9,400 in Operation Roundup funds, to benefit organizations or individuals in local communities.
Brave Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center: $1,750 to support therapeutic riding scholarships for special needs children and adults.
Jones County Family Connection: $2,250 to purchase book bags and school supplies for the 8th Annual Jones County Back to School Event.
Jones County Public Library: $1,000 to help cover the cost of establishing a Special Needs Master's Program in Jones County.
Milledgeville Kappa League: $1,500 to help cover the cost of sending students to the annual Kappa League Leadership Conference.
Putnam County High School: $2,000 to support educational activities of special education students outside of the classroom.
Stone Creek Baptist Church 1808: $900 to purchase books for children throughout the community.
