Tri-County EMC Foundation Grants $11,144 in June 2013

In June 2013, the Tri-County
· Baldwin County 4-H - $500 to provide scholarships for Baldwin County students to attend 4-H camp
· Gray United Methodist Church - $2,608 to purchase building materials for church youth to repair homes in Jones County.
· Jones County 4-H - $500 to provide scholarships for students in Jones County to attend 4-H camp.
· Mustard Seed Ministries: Baldwin County - $1,786 to purchase materials for organization volunteers to build four wheelchair ramps for individuals in need in Baldwin County
· Mustard Seed Ministry: Jones County - $3,000 to purchase materials for volunteers to repair four homes of individuals in need in Jones County.
· Putnam County 4-H - $500 to provide scholarships for students in Putnam County to attend 4-H camp.
· Putnam County Special Olympics - $750 to provide funds to support starting the Special Olympics program in Putnam County.
· Ronald McDonald House of Central GA- $750 to provide nights of stay for families in the Tri-County Service Area with family members in the hospital.
· The Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia- $750 to provide funds to pay for medical needs and expenses for low-income cancer patients within the Tri-County Service Area.
Operation Roundup is funded by the voluntary contributions of Tri-County EMC Members to the Tri-County EMC Foundation. Participants in the program have their monthly bill rounded up to the next dollar and the difference is donated to Operation Roundup. Any non-profit, civic, religious or government organization located within Tri-County’s eight-county service area is eligible to receive funding. Applications must be for special needs or projects.
