Tri-County EMC Foundation Grants $46,000 in September

During the September 2022 meeting, the Tri-County EMC Foundation Board of Directors voted to fund $41,000 in Operation Roundup Grants to local organizations to execute special projects. The organizations that received funds are listed below.
Baldwin County Jail Dog Program: $4,000 to purchase the veterinary and food costs for the dogs in the Jail Dog Program – a program that allows inmates to train dogs that will be put up for adoption.
Baldwin County Early Learning Center: $1,000 to purchase winter coats for students in need at the school.
Georgia College & State University: $1,108 to purchase books for the Free Little Libraries in Baldwin County.
Georgia Transplant Foundation: $6,000 for financial assistance and support programs to benefit solid organ transplant patients in the Tri-County EMC Service Area in Georgia.
Habitat for Humanity of Baldwin County: $2,309.51 to purchase materials for wheelchair ramps constructed for 2 individuals in need in Baldwin County.
Jones County Public Library: $2,000 to purchase updated non-fiction books and create an outdoor seating area at the library.
Lake Country Baptist Brotherhood: $1,100 funds to purchase materials to construct a wheelchair ramp for an individual in need in Putnam County.
Make a Wish Foundation of Georgia: $6,000 to grant 8 pending wishes for children from the Tri-County EMC service area.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors: $10,000 to help cover the cost of home repairs for an individual with health issues in Putnam County.
Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia: $5,000 to help cover the cost of families from the Tri-County EMC service area to stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
Brave Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center: $3,000 to cover horseback riding scholarships, feed for horses and fence repair for the therapeutic riding center.
