No Sweat Load Management System Expected to Operate Friday, June 29

Posted on Jun 28, 2012 at 12:00 AM

We fully expect to operate our No Sweat load management system for the first time on Friday, June 29. Extremely high temperatures, at or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, have been forecast from June 29 to July 2. We expect to operate the No Sweat load management both Saturday and Sunday (June 30 – July 1), as well. It is also predicted that a new collective peak load will be set for the EMC’s in the state of Georgia on Saturday.

We appreciate the members participating in the No Sweat program. Your willingness to help to reduce Tri-County EMC’s peak demand will result in lower power costs in the future. Should you experience any problems associated with the No Sweat program, please feel free to contact us at 478.986.8100 or 1.866.254.8100.
