Rain and High Winds Cause Power Outages Overnight

Strong winds and rains pushed through Georgia overnight, leaving many electric meters without power due to downed trees and power lines. 

As the storm was rolling through around 4:15 AM, we had 41 outages affecting more than 1,700 meters

Our lineman have worked diligently and safely throughout the night. 

As of 8:30 AM on Monday morning, we are down to 38 outages affecting about 600 meters

As of 9:45 AM on Monday morning, we are down to 30 outages affecting about 300 meters. 

LATEST UPDATE: As of 4PM on Monday, January 3, all power was restored.

Linemen will continue to work until all power is restored.
